Well...the last week has been interesting.
Paul has recieved his medical clearance...his cholesterol is normal. I'm so gutted because it means he continues to eat butter and cheese etc in front of me (he's so mean!). His comeuppance is that he went to the dentist today and has to have a couple of fillings redone. Hmmm...I think I feel like having some sweets...where's Paul so I can eat them in front of him?!
I've been so good wit the whole cholesterol thing and have dropped almost a whole dress size in 3 weeks. I can't say it's not a good thing - it saves buying clothes when I have lots of 'thin' clothes in my wardrobe! Hopefully my cholesterol will be well in control by the time July rolls around (provided I haven't slipped through a drain grate by then!...unlikely; I'm still a chocoholic at heart!)
Isaac developed a nasty rash at the weekend and by Monday it was convering his little body...the doctor said it was a harmless virus that was not contagious but that it would take several weeks to go. I prayed that it would clear up...and it did...not quite before my eyes, but by this morning... Amen!
We also had a fantastic, swift response to our enquiry about preschool - another answer to prayer (we needed an answer in less than 12 hours - given the time difference, that's a tall order at the weekend, when noone is working).
I shouldn't be surprised, but I continue to be - when a Great Big God answers my little prayers.
How Cool is that?
